We had a really good week this week with user activity AND new user registration! *Waves to all the new people.*
Today, we just updated the 1x1 section to make it easier on moderators long-term and to help keep users from getting a notice.
We've limited the 1 x 1 Recruitment section so once you've posted 2-threads, you will not be able to post another in that section (female for male, for instance). You can still post 2 threads in all other pairing sections to keep with our 2-per-section rules.
As mentioned in the site rules, it's a good idea to make sure you have one main thread for your 1 x 1 searches and then keep that spare one open for random cravings you may want noticed. However, in the end, it's up to you.
You ARE able to delete your old threads on your own to be able to post a new one, should you decide you want a fresh start on a thread.
Also, a reminder, please, do not bump your threads if they are on the first page UNLESS you have updated something on your thread and are announcing it ("new plot added!", for instance). We are still small and your threads are easy to spot because they aren't be swept onto secondary pages yet. When more threads begin appearing and your thread is being pushed off the first page, then you are free to bump. :)
Doing it in this manner keeps it fair for other users so everyone has time in the spot light that is the first page.
Future Updates:
As we move forward, we will be adding in features to help navigate the site better, such as a button to quick-search for your threads in different sections to avoid scrolling and page turning.
We're also considering adding 'Mood' icons sometime in the future just to add some fun for users who might like to use it.
There is also a chance we may open a private thread sector, but that is still in the discussion phase and wouldn't be implemented for a while.
We'll keep everyone up-to-date as we go.
If there's anything you'd like to suggest, don't hesitate to ask, just know that we are limited to what add-ons already exist for Xenforo and that many add-ons do come with a price, so we do have to pick and choose if and when something can be added to the site.
