Hello, Lovelies of Writing Home.
It's the night before Christmas and all through the house, the roleplayers were sleeping--some creeping about.
What did they seek so late in the eve? While, roleplayers, of course, for stories they'll weave.
However, little storytellers, it's time for bed. Let's close our eyes and rests our heads.
Santa is coming with gifts galore, but some are guns and knives, so we'd best prepare for war.
My mistake, they're just toys! Now rest your head and make no noise.
Santa is coming, bringing fun and cheer and, for the adults, a case of beer.

First and foremost, READ THE RULES!
They are all organized and easy to understand.
If you have any questions, you're always welcome to contact an admin or moderator for clarification.
As for today's rule reminder...
Stranger Requests are not allowed.
Per the rules, a 'Stranger Request' (someone messaging a user who has no search threads or statuses stating they are seeking partners for the purpose of roleplay) is not allowed. While we understand our users want to find partners, we want to respect those who aren't looking. This rule was put in place after a number of users mentioned how, on other sites, they felt 'creeped out' by random people messaging them out of nowhere to roleplay.
Please, find your roleplaying partners through the correct channels (search threads).
Message those seeking to keep things running smoothly.
To put some minds at ease, no, we don't immediately jump on people who do this. Often, it takes a report from a user for us to even know it's happening. However, once we are aware and, depending on how many times the person has broken this rule, we are more serious going forward.
Almost everything on the lower offenses are given leeway with just a reminder. Please, don't take these reminders for granted.
Once you've been taught or reminded of a rule, follow it.
