Hi! I'm Peri! I've been roleplaying for about 20 years or so. I'm 33 but I started about age 10-13. I'm a multi-para - novella writer who really isn't too concerned about grammatical errors (as I make them all of the time). I'm open to many different types of roleplaying but if you're interested in writing with me, ya gotta give me something that sparks my muse. Haha!

Note: I want to clarify that this story is not my original idea. This is from a group roleplay I was a part of but I've changed some settings, names and other aspects within the original story to alter it to something I could use for a 1x1 story.​

History: Lyrica Sevin is a princess who was born to Emperor Dytrix Sevin and his wife Alga Lempour. She is the middle child of three to older brother Lagos Sevin and younger half-brother Nyx Sevin. After the collapse of the empire, Lyrica's young son Isa Metora was murdered in a rampage committed by a rival kingdom that had began taking over the land. Lyrica was taken prisoner by her own husband Desintra Metora after revealing that he had been working with the rival empire to overtake the Sevin's Empire. She was given to King Aldous Ketinka of the rival kingdom and kept for years in the dungeons of her own home until the warring ceased. It was only after Lyrica's brother Lagos had escaped his own prison that he freed Lyrica and helped her to escape but in turn, lost his life battling to get his sister free. Lyrica remained on the outskirts of the empire, living off of the land for a while when she found a nearby town on the outskirts and had heard that King Aldous had lost the final battle and was slaughtered in his own bed. Lyrica began planning to come back to the empire to claim the throne as she believed her entire family had been murdered in the war. Upon returning, she found that her half-brother Nyx, had survived and was going to take the throne. However, by Sevin law, a half-ling (a bastard), could not stake claim to the throne. Seeing that Lyrica was the only true-blood left alive, she believed it was her right.​

After making her return, Lyrica and Nyx met with one another to negotiate terms on ruling as they were the only children left of their parents. Nyx wished to change the laws of the half-lings which would allow him the ability to rule. Lyrica agreed but only under the agreement that Lyrica would be Queen Regent until Nyx married. Nyx agreed to this. After only a week of Nyx and her brother taking the throne, there were whispers among the people and the palace that Nyx had plans to kill his older sister or have her cast out but this was only a rumor and Lyrica knew her conniving younger brother would need time to plan such a thing. She knew then that she needed to find a way to kill Nyx or have him charged with attempt on her life but she couldn't do so without help and evidence as their Council of Man would never agree to imprisoning their current emperor without proof.​

Lyrica aligned herself with Queen Junipur Casyn, Queen of the Alsyn Isles (a country to the northern mountains) who's family was a long time ally of the Sevin Kingdom and someone who hosted Lyrica as a young girl as her family had hosted many members of the royal family for their studies when they were young. Lyrica went to Junipur to reveal what she had learned about Nyx and how he had planned to kill her or frame her so that he could imprison her. Lyrica had been a favorite among her students when she was a young girl and Junipur believed Lyrica. In turn, Junipur gave Lyrica her best fighter - a man named Aesin Svensson to protect her and be her closest guard. Aesin would also act as a spy for Junipur in agreeance with Lyrica so that if he found that Lyrica was lying, their deal would be off.​

Upon returning to the Sevin Kingdom, Lyrica tells Nyx that Aesin is the bastard son of one of their family's previous Royal Guard and that he has agreed to be her personal guard - as it was customary for the Queen to have a sole protector on top of having the royal guard to watch over her. A few weeks later, Lyrica and Aesin are working together to find out what it is exactly that Nyx is planning when there is an attack on the grand palace that injures Nyx into a debilitated state and the attack was done by the people of Aldous Ketinka's kingdom - those who still wish to overtake the Sevin empire... at least, that is what everyone believed.​

Where We Begin: The attack. Aesin and Lyrica are separated in the attack and Lyrica finds herself - sword in hand, bloody and beaten - hiding in the royal gardens just before the Oakwood Forest. Aesin finds Lyrica who can not stand on her own due to a broken ankle and helps her back inside the now calm palace. Together, they find out that her brother is in bad shape and has been given an elixir to keep him sedated due to the tremendous damage that has been done to him during the fight. Lyrica is told that she alone must repair the damage done by the warring kingdom and put pieces of their city back together. Lyrica accepts this and asks for Aesin's help to which he obliges.​

During their time in repairing the kingdom, Lyrica finds two young girls who have lost their parents in the horrific battle and takes them into the custody of the royal family. She takes a liking to the girls and as does Aesin. He finds he has a sweet spot for the two little orphans and it allows Lyrica to see a softer side of the warrior that she had not seen as of yet. This is a turning point for Lyrica as she begins to look at Aesin differently. This also brings Lyrica and Aesin closer on a more personal level and allows Aesin to find trust in Lyrica that she has no hidden agendas for the throne or for the people and that she is indeed simply wanting to be Queen of her people.​

Important Aesin Notes:​

• Aesin is approximately 35-40 years old
• Aesin's father was a former guard of Queen Junipur and his mother was a whore who gave Aesin to his father when he was a year old and he was basically raised by the Queen in secrecy so he has knowledge that most bastards would never have
• Aesin is a skilled fighter, has fought in battles and has some PTSD
• Aesin was someone who had taken many women to bed back in the Alsyn Isles, as royal guard do often and he's seen as charming and passionate by those women - a bit of a playboy
• Aesin is a little bit cocky but not douchey. He is confident in his swordsmanship as he has not been yet killed - he is also very tactical in his fighting skills and abilities. He is also quite witty and often someone who makes inappropriate comments and jokes
• Aesin and Lyrica find one another attractive among meeting each other but do not act upon any sort of urges - Aesin because he doesn't believe Lyrica would ever bed a man like himself and that he respects her and Lyrica because she believes it to be forbidden
• Aesin and Lyrica's relationship is nuanced with sexual tension and unspoken feelings, especially as the lines of their relationship become blurred with further sexual tension - as even more once they've crossed the line and actually have sex
• Aesin has always dreamed of being a king but doesn't think he's someone who would ever become king because of who he is and because he doesn't really think he is fit but Lyrica sparks something in him that changes this thought in him and it would actually become something that he wants - and wants it with Lyrica
• Aesin quickly learns that Nyx is a dickhead and doesn't like him from the start
• Aesin is covered in battle scars

Important Lyrica Notes:​

• Lyrica was only 16 when she was married off to Desintra Metora, 17 when she had her son and 20 when the battle on the empire broke out. She was 23 when she escaped captivity and is approximately 27-30 years old now
• Lyrica never wanted to be Queen - she was content with being the wife of a high ranking Lord until Desintra betrayed her family
• Lyrica has severe PTSD from being in captivity, being raped repeatedly by her husband while in captivity and experiencing multiple forms of abuse from King Aldous Ketinka
• Lyrica is someone who is seen as the "Gem of the kingdom" and is beloved by the people because before the war, she did lots of charity for the kingdom and often would give money out to the poor - and did many things to try and better the lives of the people along with her mother
• Lyrica believes after going through what she went through while in captivity, she is barren (but she's not)
• Lyrica eventually falls pregnant with Aesin's child but keeps it a secret for quite some time out of fear
• Lyrica and Aesin will eventually plot to kill Nyx after he's back on his feet because he is an awful person

Important Story Notes:​

• This is a story mainly centered around Lyrica and Aesin and their relationship - everything else is just background and what they're working towards
• A big part of this story is Lyrica and Aesin's forbidden relationship that develops between them
• Once Aesin and Lyrica finally reveal their feelings towards one another, I'd love for there to be many scenes where they've hidden themselves or found a vacant dark corner to steal kisses and affection
• This is heavily a romance-based story but with smut rolled into it at appropriate times
• I'd love for there to be some arguments between them because of their differing backgrounds and what they believe is right and wrong
• This is a long-term storyline with much possibility for growth and to go in so many different directions
