Hello, welcome to the search. This is a query to anyone interested in roleplaying. I have some ideas, you have some ideas, let's work together and create. My name is Sol, well, you can call me Sol anyway. I am 35, and I've been roleplaying for a while. Though I am more accustomed to text-based RPGs in Discord, with dice bots for mechanics. I am not limited to that style of play; as much as I enjoy game mechanics, I am more interested in the story that will take our characters on a journey of discovery. My style of writing is pretty relaxed, and I am adept with grammar and skilled with writing, but generally, I don't have a rule for supreme grammar understanding, as long as it is easy enough to follow and respond to without getting lost or missing something, I don't mind. I enjoy writing fantasy, sci-fi, Science Fantasy, Urban Fantasy, and more. I am not limited to these genres; if you have a setting and want to pitch it to me. I am willing to work with your ideas and even bring a bit of my own. I can respond with 1-5 paragraphs if needed, depending on mood and inspiration, fleeting as those muses might be lol.
My availability is limited to weekends. I work full-time and my job requires me to be focused, so I am only really available to chat during the week through the bulk of the day. I get weekends off, Saturday and Sunday. So if there is something you want to discuss, feel free to send a message. Though if I don't respond right away or if I respond with a short reply, then know, it is likely because I am on a break at work. After work, I am free mid-afternoon into the evening.
When it comes to characters and visuals, I am not picky, you can use whatever you feel inspired to use or you find best fits the character you are creating. I use a wide variety of visuals myself, so it would be foolish not to let others do the same when they approach me with a character or a concept. You are free to display your character as you please, as long as you follow the rules of the site.
When it comes to ideas, they will be presented through one of three ways: either I have a setting in mind that, if you like, we can formulate a plot within. I'll have a plot/setting where you can add and adjust as you wish to tweak if that catches your eye. Or I will have a premise. Pairings can really be discussed based on the context of the plot/setting/concept we go over, so I don't really have a preference for pairings.
When it comes to smut, I am impartial to it, I have done it before, I don't mind doing it, but smut isn't something that his high on my list of interests. This is mostly up to your preference. Not to be confused with romance because I am a sucker for a slow burn.
Fandoms are tough because there are certainly worlds and stories that I am a huge fan of, but I feel cringe when I try to play a character from those settings. I'd much rather play an original character within the setting that is fun, but if you ask me to play Naruto, Zoro, or Tanjiro, I will likely politely decline. Not that there is anything wrong with playing canon, it's just not something I am into. But don't be discouraged, if you have an idea within a fandom verse where I can play an original character, I am likely to be interested.
Alright, I'm sure by now you are sick of me talking about myself and things that I do, so now, without further ado, what you've really been waiting for.

Heroes and Villains - The heroes were once renowned for their courageous acts, but after the villains had been defeated, their fall from grace was unexpected. Betrayed by the very kingdom they sacrificed so much to protect. It was known that the nobles were corrupted by greed, stuffing their pockets while the common folk suffered under their thumbs. The mighty heroes in all their acts of heroism saw that the threat they faced was much greater than the corrupt nobles who manipulated the king like a puppet. But once the threat had been subdued, the heroes didn't know that their nemesis was right all along. And now the heroes have been stripped of their status and abandoned. Replaced by fraudulent knights that have been appointed by the very same people the heroes fought against annihilation. And what of the villain who had warned them? Executed, but what now? As a new threat arises, will the heroes make the same mistakes? Will they turn their backs on those who abandoned them after their ascension and fall? Will the people be saved, or be forced to face the threat on their own? There may be one who can convince the heroes to take up their positions once more, but will that be enough?
The Orphan and the Saint: from mid-level adventurer to world's strongest - An orphan with a younger sister who still lives at the orphanage grows up to become an adventurer, taking care of his little sister. But the world is cruel, and so are people, which is why the gods created the Temple of the Brave and blessed the six immortal saints with their powers and divine weapons. In the light fight that threatened the world, one of the six saints was cast into the demon world of Gehenna. Where she keeps the gates sealed. However, not all people are in agreement that the demon realm should be sealed. Those who follow the teachings of the dark lords plot to release the demons and allow them to reign over humanity with prejudice and scrutiny. With one of the six saints sacrificing themselves to keep the demons sealed away, the gods have chosen this young adventurer to take up the mantle as one of the six immortal saints. The one tasked with training him is none other than the Saint of Orphans. He will face trials and tribulations that will test his mind and body, pushing him to the absolute limits. All while trying to uncover the cult that is using orphan children with talents for magic to summon powerful demons as they weaken the seal that keeps the gates of Gehenna sealed.
The Servant Girl and The Labyrinth Hunter - This is a dialogue-heavy concept where an Adventurer (Labyrinth Hunter) often visits his favourite tavern, where a servant girl working to buy her freedom is often engaged in conversation. She brings him their finest alcohol while he shares stories of his adventures to soothe her need for freedom. The more often he visits, the more suspect the owner of the tavern becomes. This is because the girl was sold to him to pay off her family's debt, though it is a farce. She refused his advances, and when he became bitter over her refusal, he used his political leverage to force her family into financial ruin. But she still refused to fall victim to his whims. This is a slow-burning, simmering stew of love, political strife and perseverance against adversity.
