"From what I have seen of the Death Priest he can handle himself quite well." Her voice calm and steady despite the situation and things going on. Her eyes still on Gemma and Ashy both.

"Time is different for each species. It wouldn't surprise me that Priest Emmi still feels new. Im glad you feel at peace here. It is a quaint place."

Her pace was steady, her presence noticeable but in a sentinel type if way.

They reached Gemma and Ashy at the side of the forest path.
"Seems the Knight is better behaved." Gemma said through her teeth, Ivy Vines sighed.
"Have you ever known a Death Priest to be normal, Gem?" She gestured to Ashy.
"No." the Dwarf admitted. "The Mayor is on their way."
"Good." Ivy Vines. "Hopefully we can aid these two in bringing an end to the weird things happening in this area."
"Agreed, I've been concerned about the travelers who have hidden themselves away in the deep woods. One can only hope they're finding enough to eat out there."
"The forest provides much, I'm sure that most of them are doing well. No errant bodies have been found thus far." Ashy waved at the small group walking towards them from down the path.

Kailani finally came to a stop, her blue plume stilling the same as her. Her eyes upon this group of interesting people before her. Reminded her more of a group of adventurers than anything, though this wouldn't be so permanent. Her gaze landed on Ashy watching their movements and she couldn't help but give a small smirk. Quirky sure but the death priest seemed to have a good head on his shoulders.

Was interesting to here about the travelers in the woods though. There had been no mention or reports of such things for her. "The travelers in the woods, are they making it through or no?" She asked to no one in particular, assuming someone would likely have an answer among those around her. The extra information wouldn't hurt to know while waiting on the mayor to arrive.
