She would look at him and then at her wound. "Princess?" she asked, looking at the wooden floor. "How can I be princess with no crown?" she asked.

He smiled as he took the golden hair band from his helmet and put it in hers. “She does now…” he said as he looked at her. “Fetch the tailor…i need to make an order…” he said to his servant who nodded and quickly left. “What is your name child?” He asked.

The child stared at him for a little. "Asai." she told him.

“Yash i am the lord of this land…” he said as he kneeled to her and then smiled. “Are you hungry?” He asked as he began to undo the straps around his armor neatly setting it down as she would see his silk robes before he walked over to the pot and stirred the stew.

The girl nodded and watched him as he undid his armor and saw his silken robes. She walked after him to the pot of soup.

He poured her a bowl and offered it to her. “Its hot be careful…” he said as he then poured himself a bowl and gently blew on it before sipping it smiling. He missed a hot meal and good meal as he leaned back enjoyed the soup.

She would hold it in her one hand and would blow on it for a few seconds before taking a sip. She burned her tongue, freaked out and then dropped the bowl, spilling it. She gasped and then started crying. "I-I'm sorry, please don't punish me." she said, bowing at him.

The bowl breaking he didnt get angry as he looked at her. He reached over and cupped her cheek. “Why would I punish you for an accident?” He said as moved down and began to pick up the broken bowl. “This is just an item…and we can repair…” he smiled at her. “You will become strong…my daughter…” he said looking at her.

Asai would look at him with tears in her eyes. "Momma scolded me when I broke things." she told him and then wiped away her tears. She would get a new bowl and would eat her soup carefully next time. She soon fell asleep.

Once asleep he took her to her room which was nice and warm and put her in a comfortable bed and went to tend to his duties

She would sleep a lot until she woke up to the sound of heavy rainfall. She would stir a bit and look around for him.

She would hear footsteps outside and then his voice. “I want patrols back on the roads again to protect my people…” he said before he sat outside her room.

She stood up and then opened the sliding door, meeting him face to face. "Daddy?" she asked him.

Hearing those words he smiled and looked st her with cool eyes. “Slept well my princess?” He asked as he looked a her while sitting on the porch. He was happy to hear her accept him as her father.
